Signode NSP-1435 Pneumatic Steel Strapping Sealer
The Signode NSP-1435 is a pneumatic steel strapping sealer used with 1 1/4" x .029-.035" banding. The NSP-1435 provides a single crimp type joint and is a light weight tool, weighing only 9 lb. The Signode RCNS2-114 is a more common sealer, but is notch type, and only is capable of .031" thick strapping. You should look at the DN114HD battery powered sealer that can run .031"-.040" steel strapping.

Allstrap Opinion: If engineering or rail road specs call for crimp type joint, the NSP-1435 was best choice. For the best and strongest joint, crimp two seals 4 times, or even better 3 seals 6 times. For a tool with a notch type seal, see Signode RCNS2-114, or the new battery Grip Pack Sealer, or battery combo Kodiak. For HD battery powered tools look at the DN114HD sealer, and STB tensioner. If you are staying with pneumatic (you should not), then we recommend the NSP1435.
