Signode BXT3-25 32 Battery Powered Strapping Tool
The BXT3-32 strapping tool keeps many of the features loved on the BXT2-19. The new BXT3-32 has updated the display. Now there is a beautiful screen that shows exactly what the tool is doing, and can do. It is easy to adjust tension, weld, and flip from manual mode to automatic. The favorite button lets you flip to a second stored tension setting, which makes running two jobs that need different tension easier. The display shows tension in real time. The display ticks up as the tool is pulling the banding tight, and shows you the actual tension in real time. In auto mode, the tool kicks into weld/cut once tension is reached. Not hitting a second (weld) button to finish the cycle is what 90% of our accounts run with, and needing to hit half as many buttons makes it faster and easier to use the BXT3-25/32.
The battery and charger are Bosch 18 volt and 6+ amp hours. The housing around the battery protect the BXT3-32 from damage. Many other tools have exposed batteries which leads to the battery tabs, or tool tabs breaking off when the tool is dropped. The BXT3-32 protects the battery very well.
Run it on either 1" or 1 1/4" polyester strapping (for PP strap, we suggest the BXT3-16).
For 3/8" use the BXT3-13
For 1/2" or 5/8" use the BXT3-16 or P328
For 5/8" or 3/4" use the BXT3-19 or P329 (or P329S)
Alternative for 1" or 1.25" is the P331

Allstrap opinion:
This Signode BXT3-25-32 tool is one of the easiest to use on the market. The weakest two parts on the BXT2 were upgraded. The blocking pawls (responsible for swinging the arm away from the feedwheel) was replaced by a durable spring. The second trouble spot for the BXT2-32 was things getting caught in the welding belt. The BXT3 now has a cover to keep big things out, and a blow out hole to get rid of the small things. Signode has lowered the cost of the wear parts, generally making them more competitive with other brands. The BXT3-25-32 is also much easier to work on for maintenance. With these improvements and some run time to make sure it holds up, the Signode BXT3-32 could soon be one of the best tools for HD banding (with the P331)! The smaller BXT3 tools have been out for years and are performing very well with plastic strapping. The BXT3-32 is in limited release (March 2022) and should be here this year. We have one of two BXT3-32s currently in the US. The BXT2-32 was so horrible that we are not yet suggesting buying this tool. Signode did not have an answer for why the BXT2-32s mostly did not last a month, and it took them an unacceptable amount of time to cover them under warranty. Really it took our DO NOT BUY rating on the first google result to even get them talking about covering the BXT2-32. Since we know what happened last time, we would suggest holding off until we have completed field testing of the Signode BXT3-32.
