STD Signode - Poly Strapping Tensioner
The Signode STD works with 0.5" Polyester (PET) or Polypropylene (PP). This tool is easy, fast, and uses a feed wheel to pull. This feed wheel style tool has unlimited uptake, but does not pull as much tension as windlass style tools. A serrated feedwheel grips the strapping and rotates to take up slack. Fast and easy to position and use. Take-up is unlimited, and strapping may be used directly off the coil.
Allstrap Opinion: Signode STD is a feed wheel tool, so it wears down compared to windlass tools. We prefer the ASC320 or EP1150.
