PH-2
The Signode PH-2 is a rack and pinion style pusher tensioner for steel strapping. An advantage of the PH-2 is that it pulls more tension than the feed wheel style tensioners. This tool has limited uptake, as much as the rack is long. The PH-2 is used with .75" and 1.25" x up to .031" banding and weighs 7 lb.
Allstrap Opinion: The PH-2 tool is top of the line. The best part about the Signode PH-2 is how tough it is. It's very durable, and there is only 1 wear part. The lifespan is much longer than other tensioners, and the wear part is easily accessible for quick repair. We suggest buying the PH-2.
