Golden Bear STB1600 Pusher Style Battery Powered Tensioner for 3/4" or 1 1/4" Steel Strapping

This is the fastest and lightest tensioner on the market.  It pulls 1800 pounds of tension on 3/4"-1 1/4" steel strapping x .025"-.040" HT.  The balance is perfect, and it is only 5 1/2 pounds including the battery.  This tensioner is also the fastest tool on the market.  You can pull the slack out of the band very quickly, and it pulls harder than any other pusher style tensioner (pneumatic or battery).  It has an easy to use trigger that is ergonomically positioned.  

Operating instructions:  Loop the strap around the bunk, and thread the closed seal with the bottom strap folded under the seal.  Slide the STB1600 tensioner on the top strap by pushing it on at a slight angle.

Pull the trigger to run the pusher nose up to the 114P Pusher Seal.  The tool will stall at 1800 pounds of tension, or let off the trigger for manual control.  When the desired tension is reached, seal with a separate sealer (DN114 or DN34 battery powered double notch sealers also from Golden Bear).  After the double notch, bend the STB1600 up to break the strapping at the tensioner nose.

Allstrap Opinion:

This tensioner is unbelievable!  When we first picked it up, it does not feel real.  It is 1/2 the weight of other tensioners like the A452 or PN2-114, plus it balances perfectly.  It runs on standard Milwaukee batteries.  It has 1/3 as many parts as other tensioner's, and is truly a new step forward for ease of use.  This is the first tensioner we have been excited to use, maybe ever!  It is battery powered and man is it fast!  The one downside is that there is not a reverse.  We recommend the STB1600 for all applications, your operators will love how crazy light the tools is.  When we take the STB1600 tool in for demonstrations at steel mills, the operators never want to use their original tools again.  The STB1600 is not just the best battery tensioner, it is the best steel strapping tensioner on the market.  You should order the STB1600 as fast as possible!
