The BST19 from Signode is the newest tool in a line of battery powered strapping tools. Battery power makes this tool mobile and easy to use. The BST is great for the metals industry. The sealless joint means you do not need clips, which makes this tool very fast to operate. The pneumatic tools were in the 20 pound rage like the Siat INCA HT, Fromm A384, Signode SLP, which makes the Signode BST much easier to use at 11.9 pounds (including battery).
The Signode BST tool can pull 250-1200 pounds of tension.

Signode's BST is a great tool. Most pneumatic tools have now been switched over to steel strapping battery tools (click to link), or to 1 1/4" poly strapping. Pneumatic tools are a dying breed. With the new battery powered BPT-H32, BPT-L19, Yukon, and Kodiak taking over, the pneumatic tools will be heading toward extinction. We suggest the BST sealless battery tool. The BST is well balanced, and is fast and easy to use.
