The MIP-1800 is a push-type rack tensioner that has limited take up.

Strap Used- Regular Duty or High Tensile Steel

Strap Gauge Range: .015" to .023”

Strap Width Range: 3/8" to 3/4”

Strap Thickness Range: .015" - .023”

Seals Used- Push Seals

Required Strap Finish- Painted only or painted and waxed

Allstrap Opinion (January 2020): MIP's 1800 is now made in India.  We are disappointed MIP moved from Chicago to manufacturing in India, but forgot to lower their prices.  We have had some quality problems with the Indian tools.  The MIP1800 is still a decent tool, but we now prefer the USA made EP1625tensioner.
